Leather

So I bought my first leather jacket on Friday!
It's a big purchase for me, as I don't like spending too much money on clothes
But I figured this would be an investment (lol)
& I love love love it
& I will wear it until it falls apart on me

Handle With Care

Ok, so I just finished Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult (due out April).

This was the first Jodi Picoult book where I really struggled to finish it. I found it very repetitive & much too similar to My Sister's Keeper - just a different disease.

There were family problems, questions of morality, several characters having personal problems, it just seemed to be one big book of problems. & very whiny one at that.

It was written very well & I love the style in which Jodi Picoult writes, but this book honestly did nothing for me. I didn't find myself attached to the characters like the other books & surprisingly was not the slightest bit emotional - when it was called for.

Anyway that's just my verdict, I'm sure many others will enjoy it :)

Spoilt

The boy & I celebrated our 19 month anniversary yesterday ! 19 months isn't that big a deal,
I know but we like doing little things
So yesterday I was delivered a gorgeous bunch of off-white/cream roses
& they smell lovely!
I am a lucky lucky girl

I need to go on a shopping ban.

I have been getting very few, rare & very precious hours from my firs casual job
& nothing from my second, extremely casual job *cries
But I have my 21st coming up
+ friend's birthdays, weddings, etc
oh dearrr

So in my dire financial straits, what do I do?
Buy shoes of course.
Lucky I liked them, were what I was looking for AND cheap.
$40 down from $80 from Pulp & the SA who served me was an absolute angel
So friendly & lovely :)
& they're actually comfy! Yay for fat straps, leather upper & a chunky heel <3>
